My recent stay at Aha Thakadu River Camp was a delightful blend of luxury and value, offering a true African safari experience without breaking the bank. the lodge's setting on the river provided a serene backdrop for elephant watching, making every moment special. the tented rooms were impeccably clean and comfortable, enhancing the authentic bush experience. The staff at Thakadu went above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. the game drives led by knowledgeable guides like Percy and Gary were a highlight, enriching our understanding of Madikwe Reserve. the excellent food and service further added to the overall experience. However, one hiccup arose during our visit concerning the manager's strict adherence to the check-in policy, impacting our meal arrangements. Despite this, the exceptional service received from the rest of the team overshadowed this minor inconvenience. Thakadu offers a great value proposition with its top-notch amenities, including a relaxing pool area, superb dining options, and attentive staff. For a truly special and affordable African safari adventure, Aha Thakadu River Camp comes highly recommended.
